Isabella Stabio, born in 1985, got her Saxophone Degree with top marks at Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin in 2005.
She went on with her studies at the stated Conservatory and she got the Diploma Accademico di II Livello in Saxophone with top marks and honours (110/110 cum laude) in 2007.
She was then admitted to Conservatoire National de Région in Lyon, in the international class directed by Jean-Denis Michat, where in 2008 she got the Diplome d'Etudes Musicales in Saxophone unanimously.
She also attended, at the stated Conservatory, courses in Chamber Music (class directed by Daniel Foubert), Counterpoint and Harmony (class directed by Georges Aloy) and a high specialization course in Saxophone.
She attended many international masterclasses, held by Claude Delangle, Jean-Denis Michat, Vincent David, Joseph Lulloff, Kenneth Tse, John Sampen, Johannes Ernst, Bruno Totaro, Marco Albonetti, Christian Wirth, Fabrizio Mancuso, Philippe Braquart, Griffin Campbell, Claire Koffmann, Mario Marzi, the Quatuor de Saxophones 'Habanera', Jean-Charles Richard, at Festival Internazionale del Sassofono of Faenza (from 2005 to 2009), at Université Européenne pour le Saxophone of Gap (2005), at Musicariva Festival of Riva del Garda (2006) and at Conservatoire National de Région of Lyon (2006-2007).
